Altria Group Inc. is an American holding company that owns the prominent tobacco firm Philip Morris USA Inc. It operates worldwide and is headquartered in Henrico County, Virginia, just outside the city of Richmond. Some of its other affiliates include John Middleton, Inc., U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company, Inc., and Philip Morris Capital Corporation. It also owns an interest in Helix Innovations LLC, which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of oral nicotine pouches. Altria also maintains large minority stakes in Belgium-based brewer AB InBev, the Canadian cannabis company Cronos Group, and the e-cigarette maker Juul. It is a component of the S&P 500 Index.
