What is the reputation system at Arincen and how does it work?
Arincen's reputation system measures your activity and engagement within the community on a scale of 10 to 100, displayed as a speedometer with emojis to reflect your level and standing. The system reflects your participation through likes, comments, and follows, generating insights and analyses, creating recommendations, and referring new users after they verify their email addresses.
The more good contributions you make and the more active you are, the higher your points level will be, while ceasing activity or reversing actions will gradually decrease your points, with a minimum of no less than 10 points, and a grace period of the first three days of inactivity without a points deduction.
What are the reputation score levels?
Four main levels reflect user activity and contributions to the community. The first level, Beginner, is for new or low-activity users and is represented by the color fuchsia with a 😐 symbol. The second level, Active, is for users who regularly participate in the community and is defined by the color pink with a 🙂 symbol. The third level, Interactive, is for users with high activity and quality contributions and is represented by the color orange with a 😊 symbol. The fourth level, Influential, includes major contributors and consistently active users and is represented by a color gradient from fuchsia to pink to orange with a 😄 symbol, reflecting the user's credibility and influence within the community.
How can reputation points be gained and lost?
Points can be earned through active community engagement, such as liking recommendations or ideas, commenting on content, following other users, creating ideas and analyses, making recommendations, and also when referring a new user after verifying their email.
Conversely, points can be lost for removing likes or unfollowing to prevent system manipulation, and 1% is deducted daily after three days of inactivity. Visiting a profile is considered an activity and stops point deductions, encouraging continued engagement and ensuring that points reflect a user's genuine activity.
What are the procedures for preventing manipulation of the reputation system?
Arincen employs a range of measures to ensure that reputation points reflect only genuine activity. Comments are reviewed by artificial intelligence to ensure they are legal and appropriate, and referral points are awarded only after email verification of the new user. Any reversible actions, such as unlikes or unfollows, automatically deduct points. Furthermore, daily point deductions during periods of inactivity encourage consistent user engagement and help prevent system manipulation.
How does the points system appear on the profile?
Current reputation points are displayed on a speedometer with an emoji reflecting the user's current level. The speedometer also displays the level name: beginner, active, interactive, or influential. Inactivity is shown if present. This display is available across all profile tabs, allowing users and followers to clearly and transparently see the activity and credibility levels.
What is a verified trader tag?
The "Verified Trader" badge appears on the account picture and indicates the user's trustworthiness and credibility within the community. To earn this badge, a user must have at least 20 closed trades since opening their account, with at least one closed trade within the last 30 days, and a success rate of at least 60% over the last 30 days. This badge helps followers identify the most credible and active users in the community.
What is the liquidity in the profile?
Liquidity is the number of open recommendations that haven't been closed yet, even if they've reached their targets, and it's displayed in the user's profile to enhance transparency for followers. This system ensures that traders don't leave open losing recommendations to create a false sense of success, and it accurately reflects each user's activity and credibility in the community.
How do I change my name on my account?
You can edit your name by accessing the Edit Profile menu, which appears when you tap your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen. Then, update the name field and tap Save. The new name will appear throughout your account and on your Expert page if you share recommendations.
How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address by tapping the "Edit Profile" option in the menu that appears when you tap your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen. Then, update the email address field and tap "Save." You will be asked to confirm the email address via an activation message to ensure that you are the one who made the change.
How do I add a profile about myself, and where will it appear?
You can add a short bio via the profile editing page, which appears in a menu when you click on your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen. Add your bio and click Save. This bio will appear on your profile page for experts or followers, highlighting your trading experience and interests.
How do I choose a profile picture?
You can add a profile picture to your profile via the profile editing page, which appears in a menu when you click on your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen. Add the picture and click Save. It's recommended to use a clear photo to help people identify you on the platform.
How do I add links to my website to my profile?
You can add links to your social media accounts or personal website in the Social Media Links section of your profile. These links will then appear on your profile, making it easy for followers to connect and follow you.
How do I adjust my notification preferences?
In the Notifications Preferences section, you can choose the types of alerts you want to receive, such as when someone subscribes to your idea or recommendation, or when someone you follow posts a recommendation or idea. You can modify these preferences from within your Arincen profile at any time. You can also specify whether these notifications apply to your desktop account or the Arincen mobile app.
How do I change my password?
To change your password, go to your profile, select the "Update Password" section, then enter your current password and your new password, and confirm them again. After saving, you will be prompted to log in again using your new password.
How do I delete my account on Arincen?
If you wish to permanently delete your account, go to your profile and select the "Delete Account" section. After deleting your account, all its resources and data will be permanently deleted. Before deleting, please download any data or information you wish to keep. It is advisable to review this information before proceeding.
What should I do if I forget my password?
You can recover your password via email only by requesting recovery, where you will be asked to enter your email address, and from there, you can follow the steps to recover your password.
What languages are available on the Arincen website? And how can I change the language?
Arincen's website is available in two main languages: Arabic and English. You can always switch between the two languages from the top left of your profile.
Can the account be linked to multiple devices?
Yes, all you need to do is log in to your account from any device, and all data will be synced instantly.
Is the website content in Arabic the same as in English?
No. Arincen does not translate all Arabic content into English. The two languages work separately.
