The Orthopaedics business unit designs and develops reconstructive and trauma implants, while the MedSurg division builds hospital beds and associated peripherals, among other products. Neurotechnology and Spine builds surgical equipment and surgical navigation systems, as well as endoscopic and communications systems for critical patient handling. Its products are sold in over 75 countries through official Stryker subsidiaries and branches, as well as third-party dealers and distributors. The company was founded by Homer H. Stryker in 1941 and is headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
